FreeIQ
Online video is all the rage. Whether its teenagers lip-synching to the newest Gwen Stefani song or some poor animal spinning around on a ceiling fan, videos are everywhere online. The trouble is for those of us who are actually looking to learn useful things like installing drywall in your new bonus room or how to increase traffic to our website, these important videos get lost in the clutter on MySpace and Google’s You Tube, the two largest video presentation and search tools. And that’s not to mention the plethora of other smaller video websites.
Business coaches, trainers, instructors and basically anyone with some valuable knowledge have been searching for a way to gain exposure for their information. FreeIQ will do just that. It’s moto – The Marketplace of Ideas – is designed to break through the “brain candy” that you find on all those other video sites and give the professionals the chance to promote themselves to others who are looking for their information.
StomperNet founders Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins have created FreeIQ which is currently in Beta version now, which means it is open to the public. This is the perfect time to get in on this groundbreaking opportunity. And you can join FreeIQ for free. What makes this model unique is it benefits anyone with training materials for sale (which they can sell right through the website – seemelessly). But if you don’t have products to sell, you can become an affiliate and make a sizable commission on anyone’s products. Once someone visits the site with your generic looking link, you will get paid commission for an entire year. Further, if you have your own website, you don’t even have to use an affiliate link as you can tell FreeIQ your URL and it will track any visitors coming from your domain as your customer. And the advantages over other affiliate programs don’t stop there. Read more about the affiliate program here and why, if you are currently an affiliate for other products, or even if you’re not, you’d be nuts not to get in on this while its still early.
There are at least five different ways to use FreeIQ as a revenue stream. I say at least since we are just scratching the surface as to what this site can do.
1. Create info products with your own knowledge or that of known experts, i.e. find a partner who already has something to sell.)
2. Refer Content Providers. If they don’t want to partner with you, then refer them and you get a percentage under the covers
3. Refer customers to Free Content. If they sign up on their visit, the system will track them for a year. You get paid on anything they do, whether they sell content, become an affiliate or if they refer someone who does any off those things, you also get a commission.
4. Refer advertisers. If they sign up under you and use the pay per click adverts, you get a percentage of all revenue that is generated from the adverts as well.
5. Refer affiliates The great thing about this affiliate program is that once a visitor signs up for any account, they are tied to you in the system and are not dependant on a cookie to track sales so there is little that can foul up you getting your commissions! Plus the commissions are good for a full year.
So is it for real or just some passing fad? Well, if you consider things like the wheel, sliced bread or the invention of the internet a passing fad, then maybe. I, on the other hand see this as the biggest vehicle of Web 2.0 since someone first coined that phrase a few years ago. If you don’t know what Web 2.0 is, read my previous blog about Free Money.
There are a ton of industries that can benefit from this new system. Of course Internet Marketers jumps to the top. But certainly coaches, speakers, trainers that can provide meaningful knowledge also rank at the top. Really anyone with something to sel,l but those with digital products will be able to utilize the product to its fullest potential. If you fall in these categories, GET SIGNED UP TODAY!
So is this thing new? You bet! And only time will tell if it is for real. Remember, YouTube was at the bottom in traffic at the end of 2005 when it launched and now it is the #4 most visited site on the web. My thought is that FreeIQ.com can do to your business what YouTube did to revolutionize streaming video to us all.
Now got a few minutes? Well, OK, 45 minutes. This video explains in pretty good detail as part of an interview with the founder, Brad Fallon. It’s a must view!
